Jake DeVore is the Owner of Cutting Edge First Assist and has over 10 years of surgical experience. Jake is licensed through the Texas Medical Board as a Surgical Assistant. Jake also continues to maintain his certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Jake is highly experienced in Neurosurgery, General surgery, Colorectal surgery, Robotic surgery, Urological Surgery, and Plastic surgery. When he is not working his hobbies include scuba diving and traveling with his Wife.

Michelle Pannell joined as a partner with Cutting Edge First Assist in February of 2019 and has over 7 years of surgical experience. In addition to holding a Texas Medical License as a surgical assistant, Michelle is also a Certified Surgical Technologist. Michelle is experienced in OB/GYN, Colorectal, General, and Robotic surgery. When she is not working she enjoys time with her family. She is married and has 5 sons and 9 grandchildren.

Jessica Cooper joined Cutting Edge First Assist in June of 2019 and has over 12 years of surgical experience. Jessica is licensed through the Texas Medical Board as a surgical assistant and also maintains her certification as a surgical technologist. She is very experienced in many different surgical specialties including OB/GYN, General, Robotics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. When Jessica is not in the operating room she is usually spending time with her family. Although her family keeps her busy, she will occasionally find free time for projects like painting and gardening.

Andrea Peace joined Cutting Edge First Assist in June of 2020 and has over 13 years of surgical experience. Andrea is board certified through National Commision for the Certification of Surgical Assistants. Andrea also continues to maintain her certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist as well. Andrea is highly experienced in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Transplant Surgery. When Andrea is not working her hobbies include spending time with her two children along with family and friends at the lake.

Tannia Joined Cutting Edge First Assist in November of 2020 she has over 17 years of surgical experience. Tannia has a vast amount of experience in numerous surgical specialties. While Neurosurgery is her true passion, Tannia has experience in Trauma Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Gyn Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery (Including specialized innovative intra-uterine procedures).

Tannia began her career as a Certified Surgical Technologist, completed nursing school and began working as a RN in the Operating Room. Tannia then went back to school to become a Registered Nurse First Assistant. When she's not at work, Tannia spends her free time with her family, traveling, completing home improvement projects, and volunteering for the local DonateLife organization.

Erin Moore joined Cutting Edge First Assist in April of 2021 and has over 20 years of surgicalexperience. Erin is licensed through the Texas Medical Board as a surgical assistant. She alsomaintains her certifications as a surgical technologist and surgical first assist. Erin is highly experienced in many surgical specialties including OB/GYN, General, Orthopedic, Thoracic,

Pediatric, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. She also has 10 years of experience withRobotic Procedures.

When Erin is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two children and Golden Retriever.

She also finds joy in serving on medical mission trips that provide free surgeries to children in underserved countries. Erin has served in Haiti, Zimbabwe, India and Belize.

Beth joined Cutting Edge First Assist in August 2021 and has 5 years of surgical experience. Beth is certified as a CSFA through the National Board of Surgical Technologist and Surgical Assistants. Beth also continues to maintain her certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist. She has experienced in Orthopedic Surgery, GYN Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery, and Colorectal Surgery.

Surgery is Beth’s second career. She was in office management and human resources for over 30 years. She was able to go back to school and is now working in surgery, the career she wanted as a teenager. When Beth is not working, she is spending quality time with her family. She loves to read and enjoys jigsaw puzzles.

Harvey Piggee joined Cutting Edge First Assist in November of 2021 and has over 4 years of surgical experience. He is also a United States Army Veteran. In addition to being a Certified Surgical First Assist, Harvey is also a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Harvey is experienced in Plastics/Reconstruction, Orthopedics, Vascular, OB/GYN, Colorectal, General, and Robotic surgery. When he is not working, he enjoys time with his family, making music, and shooting sports. He is married and has 3 daughters

Vivian D. Goodman joined Cutting Edge First Assist in March of 2022. Vivian comes with 16 years of Surgery experience. Vivian specializes in General, Vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, OB/Gyn, Plastics, Robotics, Thoracic and Colorectal and has 8 years of trauma experience and loves teaching. Vivian maintains her certification in Surgical Technology as well as Surgical Assisting. When Vivian has down time, she loves to travel, spending time with friends and family, gardening, woodworking and DIY projects.
